Remember Maria from this post last month? When our team met with her on their trip to Swaziland, they saw how impossibly hard her life was. She had lost her husband, eight children, and then in a burglary on her house, the robbers beat her so badly, she lost her leg.

For three years, Maria had been surviving on her own. No joy, no happiness, and no one to care for her or take care of her.

Team leader John Hearn came back and asked, "Why don't we intervene when we see an injustice in the world?"

The good news is, you my blog readers did intervene. A number of you read that post and gave a total of $445, enough to buy Maria a new wheelchair!

When Eric and Jen Peterson, AIM missionaries took it to her, she was ecstatic!

Thanks so much for choosing to make a difference.
