This is Alfie – he lives in South Africa. By all rights, he should be dead. His parents both died of AIDS and he was abandoned in a wooden box.

Some people who love orphans rescued him and nursed back to robust health.

It's ironic that while there are millions of orphaned children like Alfie in Africa, so many Americans would be looking for children to love.

The orphans don't have the ability to come over here, so I figure that more Americans need to go over there and love them. It's not a complicated thing.

They are so receptive.

"This is true religion, to look after widows and orphans in their distress." -James 1:27
