Today Karen and I leave for Africa.  It is one long flight!  You get on the plane and 18 hours later you step off, feeling much the worse for the wear.  The good news is that we'll be met by Tom and Cindy Sipling in that wonderful city, Cape Town. From there it's on to Swaziland, where we get to hang out with and bless the orphans of Nsoko. The internet can be spotty in the Swazi bush, but if we can connect, we'll keep you updated.  We will also be debriefing a World Race team there.  Back here in America, we're leaving Emily (our actress daughter), the animals, our two Racer alumni, Kim and Casey, and a steady stream of guests. The homestead continues to function...

Today, here's more on the 42nd generation from Andrew Shearman:  The children of Israel wandered in the wilderness.  During that time, God suspended the 2nd law of thermodynamics - the clothes on their backs didn't wear out.  They had manna to eat and were led along by God's presence in a cloud.  They wanted for nothing but they didn't have their inheritance.  They never crossed over the Jordan.  God may have gotten them out of the wilderness, but he couldn't get the wilderness out of them.

Ever since, God's been waiting for a generation to give the inheritance to.  Shearman explains why here in a video he will shoot nine years from now.
