At your request, I'm adding another mission trip blog. Here's some quick tips that should help you:

As a mission project leader, you've got to come ready to have a lot of meetings. That's how you maintain unity on the project. Here are some I suggest having:

1) Go over your staff's schedule at the beginning of each day.

2) Check in with your local partner to see what he is going to procure each day

3) Meet the cooks periodically to ensure that menus are thoroughly prepared and that food has been procured and cleaned as needed.

4) Meet with staff every night. Meetings should be a time of debriefing and prayer. Keep the following lines of communication open. Check to see how your staff is doing emotionally and how they are doing in terms of their work load.

5) If I am leading more than one group, I like to meet with group leaders during breakfast each morning.

6) Schedule a general group leader meeting once every few days. Touch bases with them as to how it's going. See what suggestions or complaints they might have.
