I've got a pile of books on my night stand. It is growing into an unwieldy tower. Here are some:

Meditations from the Road by M. Scott Peck

China Inc. by Ted Fishman

Connecting by Larry Crabb

The Only Necessary Thing by Henri Nouwen

It's Not the Big that Eat the Small by Jason Jennings

I just finished God's Blogs by Lanny Donoho. It's a quick read. Donoho attempts to answer the question, "What would God say if he were to blog?" He does a good job of getting outside the boxes we often put God in. If God exists outside time, then he sees present, past and future simultaneously.

If God were blogging, Donoho envisions him encouraging us to laugh more, play more and listen to more music, all inventions of his that he wants us to enjoy.

If you're a type A Southern Baptist prone to high blood pressure, this book is for you. Or just skip the book and go do something outrageously fun.
