We're at breakfast at training camp. Fortunately there's lots of coffee available.

300 racers and Passport participants are here. Karen and I are coaching 60 racers. Yesterday we connected with them some.

We have so far to go, so the connection can't happen fast enough. We tell them our story of brokenness and healing and we tell them that we'll be there for them.

For disciplers like us, it's drinking from a fire hose. Usually you spend several years developing relationship and establishing trust. But these 60 racers have signed up pre-loaded to trust. They want to grow and to go for it, so we don't have to beat around the bush much. We get right to their issues and press into facilitating their healing.

Yesterday I was sitting near a young man during one of the sessions. I could tell the Spirit of God was coming over him and so I put my hand on his shoulder and began to pray for him. God was doing something, but I didn't know exactly what it was.

Later I caught up to him and asked, "What happened?"

"I was a rugby player and had a bad injury to my shoulder three and a half years ago. When you came over to pray for me, heat came rushing through my shoulder. After the prayer, I could move my arm without any pain. I was healed!"

I love that healing is the norm at training camp. Not physical healing like that, but deep emotional healing. I love that we don't have to dance around it, but that we get to dive right in. It's a privilege.
