Karen and I are headed on a journey today to Romania. I looked in the book of Luke and found that journeys have a great many purposes. Here are ten:

   1. Journey of testing (Luke 4:1-2)

   2. Journey of calling (Luke 4:43)

   3. Lonely journey (Luke 4)

   4. Journey of abandon (Luke 5:26)

   5. Journey of testimony (Luke 8:39)

   6. Kingdom journey #1 (Luke 9)

   7. Kingdom journey #2 (Luke 10)

   8. Journey of sorrow (via dolorosa)

   9. Journey of identity ("Kingdom is within you")

  10. Journey to covenant (family or tribe)

What kind of journeys have you been on? What kind of journey are you on now?
